Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed teachers, and my dear fellow students,

Today, I stand before you to talk about a topic that is very close to our hearts – "Meri Mati Mera Desh" or "My Land, My Country." Our country is not just a piece of land; it's our home, our identity, and our pride. It's a place where diverse cultures, traditions, and people come together to form the vibrant tapestry of our nation.

When we say "Meri Mati Mera Desh," we express our deep-rooted connection to the land that has nurtured us and given us the opportunity to thrive. Our land is not just soil; it's the embodiment of our history, our struggles, and our aspirations. It's a reflection of the hard work and dedication of countless individuals who have worked tirelessly to make our country what it is today.

Our "Mati" – our land – holds within it the richness of our natural resources, from lush forests to fertile fields, from majestic mountains to flowing rivers. It's our responsibility to cherish and protect these resources, for they are the foundation of our prosperity. As responsible citizens, we must ensure that our land remains bountiful for generations to come.

And then there's our "Mera Desh" – our country – a diverse and inclusive nation that encompasses a multitude of languages, religions, and cultures. This diversity is not a source of division; rather, it's a testament to our unity in diversity. We must celebrate our differences and learn from one another, for it's this unity that makes us strong as a nation.

As young citizens of this great land, we have a pivotal role to play in shaping the future of "Meri Mati Mera Desh." It's our duty to uphold the values of democracy, equality, and justice. We must contribute positively to our society, not just for our own sake but for the betterment of our entire nation.

Let's remember the sacrifices made by our forefathers to secure our freedom. The struggle for independence was not just a historical event; it's a legacy that reminds us of the power of determination and the willingness to stand up for what is right. Our "Mati" and "Mera Desh" are outcomes of that struggle, and it's our duty to protect and uphold the principles for which they fought.

In our pursuit of progress and development, let's not forget our responsibilities towards the environment. As custodians of this land, we should strive to make our country greener and more sustainable. 

By practicing responsible waste management, conserving water, and adopting eco-friendly practices, we can ensure that "Meri Mati Mera Desh" remains a thriving habitat for all living beings.

Speech on Meri Mati Mera Desh

The nationwide "Meri Mati, Mera Desh" program has been initiated. The Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department is responsible for this in the states. The "Meri Mati, Mera Desh" program calls for the creation of an "Amrit Udyan" (Nectar Garden). 

Since last year, the country has been celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav or the Nectar Festival of Independence. This festival is being organized on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the country's independence.

In this context, there is also mention of the nationwide launch of the "Meri Mati, Mera Desh" program. The Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department is in charge of this in the states.

The "Meri Mati, Mera Desh" program calls for the establishment of an Amrit Udyan. 75 different types of indigenous plants will be planted there. These preparations are being undertaken by the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department of Rajasthan, which has also begun preparations for its own "Meri Mati, Mera Desh" program.

As a result, the department holds several meetings every day. The Additional Chief Secretary of the department, Abhay Kumar, claims that all relevant officers and chief executive officers of each Zilla Parishad have received instructions. 

As part of this effort, at least 75 indigenous plants should be planted in the Amrit Vatika to be created as part of the "Meri Mati, Mera Desh" program, which is being carried out as part of the state's Independence Amrit Mahotsav. Additionally, the responsibility of nurturing these plants is also to be undertaken.

The soil from every village will reach the country's capital, Delhi. Under this program organized at the beginning and end of the Amrit Mahotsav, earthen urns will be taken from every village to the Gram Panchayat, and from the Gram Panchayat to the block level.

Different programs will be established at each level. Volunteers from the Nehru Yuva Kendra will carry these earthen urns from the block level to the capital of the country. The national-level event venue. 

In the Amrit Vatika, 75 plants suited to the climate of each village will be planted. This program will run across the state from August 9 to IS.

To honor local heroes, a special memorial site called Shailpalakkam will be constructed at the village, block, and local body levels near the Amrit Sarovar, a water body, a panchayat building, and a school. 

On August 15, a ceremony will be held to honor martyrs, freedom fighters, and their families, including flag hoisting and the singing of the national anthem.

Five pledges will also be taken. Both rural and urban areas will host similar events. The Government Secretary of the Panchayati Raj Department, Ravi Jha, has directed all officers to align all events, including the construction of the Shailpalakkam memorial site, with the spirit of the program.
