Good morning to all today I would like to speak a few words about social media, Social Media is a platform for people to interact with each other and present their 

Opinions and convey their thoughts via virtual communities and networks like Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Their usage primarily depends, A coin has two sides in the same way social media have two sides, they are positive side and a negative side

The positive side of social media is that we can share our thoughts and ideas with people across the world.

The negative side of social media is that people spent most of their time to talk friends on WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram with other people sitting near them because the interaction between houses has been reduced.

Social media is an online platform where we can share our thoughts information pictures and videos we all use it in our day-to-day life

It has become an integral part of our lives we receive all sorts of information knowledge news and enrich our minds through social media platforms

Now the question arises is social media a moon or a baby let's first discuss how social media helps us in our daily life with social media

We can reach every corner of the world within minutes we can know facts analyze news and educate ourselves there are various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.

We all use them to communicate and socialize locally as well as globally now even a common man can express his opinion on any national and international issue

Even it helps people to earn money by selling different things online so through social media platforms people can earn both name and fame.

We can also create awareness among people like child education environmental protection and any other important issue so with all these ways social media enriches our lives.

So how it became a bane for us yes guys social media can become our biggest enemy if not used in control it is the biggest addiction in today's lives people spend a lot of time playing games checking social media accounts and staying glued to their phones all the time

It causes health disorders like stress anxiety sleeplessness and all the unwanted things sometimes social media can mislead us with wrong information

And we are so addicted that we believe it to be true students can be misled and be in total control of games like PUBG and lose their sanity week

so we can conclude that social media plays a very important role in our lives and enrich our lives in various ways if we use it wisely in a controlled manner

Otherwise, it can become our biggest enemy and create havoc in our lives according to my view social media is a boon

As I'll use it wisely for my own benefit and also the overall benefit of society with greater power comes greater responsibility social media gives us power and we should use it responsibly.

Good morning to the respected Principal, teachers, parents, and my dear friends. Today I am here to share my opinion about Social Media.

Social media is an online platform where we can share thoughts, information, pictures, and videos. We all use it in our day-to-day life. It has become an integral part of our lives.

There are various social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc. We all use them to communicate and socialize locally as well as globally. Social media has both advantages and disadvantages. I would like to mention the advantages of social media first.

The biggest benefit of social media is that we can share our thoughts and ideas with people across the world. Now even a common man can express his opinion on any national or international issue.

Another benefit of social media is that people can showcase their talent on this platform. Many people have gained fame by showing their talent through social media. It is also helping people to earn money. People sell a lot of things like clothes, books, electronic items, etc. through social media.

Social media is also used to create awareness among people. People with good knowledge about topics like health or nutrition use this platform to create awareness among people.

Now I would like to talk about the drawbacks of social media. Addiction is the biggest drawback of social media. People have gotten used to of checking their social media accounts every now and then. They spend a lot of time checking various posts on social media.

Spending a lot of time on social media also brings a lot of health disorders like stress, anxiety, and sleeplessness. Another drawback of social media is that we cannot trust all the information available here. Some information can be true while some can be fake. At times false news spread like wildfire through this platform.

Our personal information becomes easily available to many on the net. Hence, we need to stay alert from hackers. Apart from this cyberbullying is another major drawback of social media. Some people post negative and hateful comments on others' accounts and harass them.

Social media has both advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of socializing has made our life simpler and more convenient. There are some disadvantages too.

We need to use this platform wisely and in a limited way so that we can make the most out of this new platform. With this end my speech. Thank you, everyone. Have a wonderful day.
