I had been a lover of books since childhood. Last year I visited the Kolkata Bookfair with my parents.

The fair was held in the Salt Lake Stadium. It was a grand feast of books. There Were hundred of bookstalls in the fair. The stalls were nicely decorated.

The rows of Stalls were lighted and the titles of books were displayed. The fair was crowded. Men, women and children were busy buying books of their choice. I moved from stall to Stall and bought some books.

The book was So Well organized. Then we had some food and come back home. It was a thrilling experience for me.

There are also many cultural shows held at a book fair. A book fair remains us that books are a store of wisdom. Books are our best friend and we should make a habit to read books.

Such a man should make the books his friends. But as we choose good friends, we must choose only good books to read.

One can choose good books at a book fair. Every year I visit the book fair held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. I visited the same this year also. It was started on 1st Feb 2021.

There was a great rush. Many educationists, teachers, students and writers came to purchase the books of their interest.

There were many bookstalls with different kinds of books. Almost all books on all topics and fields were available.

The arrangement of the fair was perfect. The discipline and security system was good. I bought several books of my interest.

These books always motivate me to achieve my goal. Everyone should visit such valuable fairs and increase their knowledge

A grand book fair was held at Pragati Maidan recently. The fair ran for six days. It was the biggest and Shost gorgeous bookfair inaugurated by the Education Minister.

The whole area was a festive look. There were a lot of bookstalls which were decorated beautifully.

Various types of books on literature science and technology, history geography Social science eta were displayed and sold at the fair.

The leading publishers of India had also set up their stalls their latest publications were on display. Artistic title covers and fine computerized printing made the books look more attractive and alluring.
