we got independence on August 15-1947 from the 200 years of British imperial rule, on this special day we commemorate and pay homage to the freedom fighters 

we all know about the great freedom fighters but on the occasion of 75 years of Indian independence let's have a look at some of our lesser-known but equally valuable freedom fighters 

Khudiram Bose:-  he was one of the youngest revolutionaries who opposed the British rule in India he was just 18 years old when he was sentenced to death.

Peer Ali Khan:-  he was an Indian revolutionary who was a bookbinder by profession he used to secretly distribute leaflets pamphlets and coded messages to freedom fighters 

Birsa Munda:-  he was an Indian freedom fighter religious leader and folk hero who belonged to the Munda drive he was a spearhead behind the millenarian movement

it's a great honour for all of us to highlight the contribution of unsung heroes on the occasion of 75 years of Indian independence

Mahotsav".On this occasion, I would like to share my

views on unsung heroes of the freedom struggle.

There are so much freedom

fighters of India who contributed

to the independence of India but

their names faded into the Darkness.

Some of the unsung heroes of the freedom struggle are

Begum Hazrat Mahal, Matangini Hazra, Tara Rani,

Aruna Asaf Ali

, Birsa Munda, Peer Ali Khan, Kamla Devi,

Garimella Satyanarayana, Durga Bai Deshmukh,

Tirot Singh etc.

We must honour their sacrifices and should live together

in harmony and peace. In the freedom struggle, there are

many unsung heroes who devoted their life to the nation so it

is time to pay tribute to all those heroes.

I am a student of class ........ My name is....... We all know this year India celebrating "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" On this occasion, I would like to share my view on the Unsung Heroes of the freedom struggle.

There are so many freedom fighters who played the most important role in India's freedom struggle. Some of them are in the Indian independence movement and they fight to liberate India from British imperial rule. 

Undoubtedly Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Mangal Pandey, Rani Lakshmibai and many more are amongst the famous freedom fighters and have got the spotlights but there are some unsung heroes who played a crucial role in India's freedom movement. While the country celebrates 75 years of its Independence, let's take a look at some lesser-known (Unsung) freedom fighters of India. 

1. Matangini Hazra: An Indian revolutionary, who became actively interested in the Indian independence movement as a Gandhian. In 1932, she took part in the Civil Disobedience Movement and was arrested for breaking the Salt Act. Hazra was also part of the Quit India Movement and Non-Cooperation Movement. During a procession, she was shot by the police but she kept chanting 'Vande Mataram'even after being repeatedly shot. 

2. Peer Ali Khan: One of the initial rebels of India, who participated in the Indian Independence movement, is yet not known to many. He was a part of the 1857 freedom struggle and was hanged in full public view along with 14 other rebellions who participated in the mutiny. 

3. Khudiram Bose: He was one of the youngest revolutionaries who opposed the British rule of India. Bose's tale of valour and contribution to India's freedom struggle is significant as he was just 18 years old when he was sentenced to death. 

4. Aruna Asaf Ali: An active participant in the Indian Independence movement, she gained prominence at the age of 33 as she hoisted the Indian National flag at the Gowalia Tank Maidan, Bombay during the Quit India Movement in 1942. 

5. Bhikaiji Cama: One must have heard her name on roads and buildings but many are not aware of her tale of valour. One of the prominent figures in the Indian Independence movement, she also stood for gender equality. In her appeal for human rights, equality and autonomy from Great Britain, Cama unfurled the Indian flag at the International Socialist Conference at Stuttgart in Germany, 1907, which she called the 'Flag of Indian Independence. 

6. Lakshmi Sahgal: Commonly referred to as 'Captain Lakshmi', she was an officer of the Indian National Army and the Minister of Women's Affairs in the Azad Hind government. Sehgal also served time as a prisoner in Burma during the Second World War. 

She heard Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was recruiting women soldiers, so she enlisted herself with a mandate to set up a women's regiment, to be called the Rani of Jhansi regiment, where she was appointed as a Captain.  

7. Tirot Sing: Also known as U Tirot Sing Syiem, was one of the chiefs of the Khasi people in the early 19th century. He was a constitutional head sharing corporate authority with his Council, general representatives of the leading clans within his territory. Tirot Sing declared war and fought against the British for attempts to take over control of the Khasi Hills. 

8. Kanaklata Barua: Also known as Birbala and Shaheed, was an Indian Independence activist and AISF leader. Barua was shot dead by the British while leading a procession bearing the National Flag during the Quit India Movement of 1942. She was only 17 years of age at the time of her martyrdom. 

9. Benoy-Badal-Dinesh: The three comrades, Benoy, Badal and Dinesh were 22, 18 and 19 years old respectively when they decided to kill N S Simpson. The trio dressed in European attire entered the Writers' Building and shot dead Simpson in his office. 

The revolutionaries managed to evade the responders for some time but were eventually cornered later. However, the three did not wish to be arrested and so they took their own lives. The martyrdom and self-sacrifice of Benoy, Badal and Dinesh inspired further revolutionary activities in India.

Aruna Asaf Ali:- Popularly known as the Grand old lady, who hoisted the Indian Flag in Mumbai during the Quit India Movement.

Freedom fighters were people who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of their country people looked at them in terms of patriotism and love freedom fighters made sacrifices which one cannot even imagine doing for the hardships they have endured cannot be put into words 

The generations after them will always be indebted to them for their sacrifices our independence was hard fought the British ruled over our land for a long time 

But then there are heroes aren't they, there are always heroes the ones who stand up and fight some got the spotlight while some stay in the dark and contribute just as much as the others 

These bodies are truly for India's freedom fighters as well for those who fought equally hard but never got any share of the limelight because they simply never cared their only focus was seeing an independent India but as citizens of this country we should know about some of them.

Here are some freedom fighters you probably haven't heard of 

Matangini Hazra:- Hazra was part of the Quit India movement and non-cooperation movement and during one procession she continued to advance with the Indian flag even after being shot twice she kept shouting "Vande Mataram" 

Peer Ali Khan:- He was one of the initial rebels of India he was part of the 1857 freedom struggle and among the 14 people who were given capital punishment due to their rise in the freedom movement even still his work inspired many who followed but generations later his name just a dead away.

Garimila Satyanarayana:-  He was an inspiration for the people of Andhra as a writer he used his skill to write fluent poems and songs to motivate the people of Andhra to join the moment against the British.

Begum Hazrat Mahal:- She was a vital part of the 1857 Indian rebellion after her husband was exiled she took charge for hours and even seized control of liquid during the rebellion later Begum Hazrat had to retreat to Nepal where she died.

Aruna Asif Ali:- Few have heard of her but when she was 33 years old she hosted the Indian national congress flag during the quit India movement at the Gowalla tank median in Bombay in 1942.

There are so many freedom fighters who played the most important role in the Indian Freedom Struggle. Some of them are in the Indian Independence movement and they fight for everyone as they are famous freedom fighters. 

But there are some Unsung Heroes who played important role in the Indian freedom movement. Some of these Unsung Heros of the Freedom Struggle is.

Begum Hazrat Mahal, Tara Rani, Aruna Asaf ali, Bira Munda etc.Now let's read in detail about all these Unsung Heroes of the Freedom Struggle. 

These Unsung Heroes are also the regards we live in a free country. There are many Unsung heroes.
