Today the country is completing 75 years of independence. There were many obstacles at the beginning of this journey of 75 years, but India did not turn back. The country kept on moving forward looking towards its goals. Today the country is continuously moving forward on the path of progress. Today there is no field in which India has not earned a name. 

But this journey of 75 years was not easy at all. The country has worked hard to reach where the country is today. Today the country is progressing but corruption is a major obstacle in the economic, social and political progress of the country. All the parties like government, citizens and private sector need to work together to eradicate corruption. In this direction, the policy should be made with integrity.

 Integrity is considered to be of great importance in life. By following this, any person can give a new direction to his life. Truth and honesty are words with their close meaning.

There is a need to formulate a code of ethics for all government employees for the honest performance of their functions. Only then can the country realize its dream of becoming self-reliant.

The colonisation however clipped the wings of India. After the Independence on 15 August 1947. The wealth India had was not been close to the comparison of what it had 200-300 years back,

The lack of technology literacy balance in power, agriculture, industrial machinery etc. all these played their hands too. Post-Independence India shined rather Glimmery till the 1990's when the Govt brought the L.P.G policy and allowed investors from foreign lands. This marked the ignition of the uprising of India.
