In self-reliant India, attention will be given to every area in which India takes the help of any other country. Then you have to become competent in that area. This will greatly benefit the development of the country and India will become a self-reliant nation.

Benefits of Self-reliant

• If the country will be self-reliant then it has many advantages which are as follows:
• You will not have to spread your hands in front of any other country. There will be an increase in industries in the country.
• Every youth of the country will be successful, capable and at the same time he will have employment.
• The country will be free from unemployment as well as poverty.
• The country will have more money and its economic system will be strong.
• Instead of imports, exports will increase, which will lead to a reserve of foreign exchange.

At the time of any natural calamity, the demand for food grains increases in the country, if the country is self-sufficient then it will not need to depend on any other country.

Opportunity for Self-reliant

As we all know that right now our country is going through a terrible epidemic like corona virus. This crisis has given our country an opportunity to become self-reliant.

In this terrible pandemic, we have proved that we are with the country no matter what the dire situation may be in our country. Will not allow the country to be dependent on any other country.

We have so far produced things like PPE kits, ventilators and sanitizers etc. in the country to fight the epidemic like Corona. There is no shortage of any resource in our country India.

Earlier, PPE kits, ventilators and sanitizers were produced in very small quantities in our country. But we have given a great example to other countries to be dependent on ourselves in such a terrible situation. To produce them on their own towards self-reliant India. It is an important and first step and it has also been successful.

Damage from another country:

Work will have to be done according to that country and every condition of that country will have to be accepted, even if we are rejected. This strengthens the economic condition of other countries. 

Our country's money is used in the development of other countries and our country lags behind many times. There will be a terrible problem like poverty, unemployment in our country.

If we decide that we and our country have to be self-reliant in every field, then no one can stop our country from becoming a developed country. When our country becomes completely self-reliant then it will be free in the right way.

The year 2020 has been a disastrous one not just for India but for every country in the world due to the rapid spread of coronavirus. which eventually led to a pandemic.

The disease impacted the country's economy on a large scale, thus further damaging growth and progress. In these items, where the economy seems to fall with each passing day, Prime Minister of Inda, Narendra Modi introduced a concept called Atmanirbhar Bharat.

On 12th May 2020, prime MInister Narendra Modi accounted for a package of 20lakh crore to revive the economy and address the issue affecting various sections of people. the package is about 10% of the Indian total GDP. Atmanirbhar Bharat is the mission and vision of our P.M. Narendra Modi to make India Self-reliant, The real meaning of Atmanirbhar is self-reliant India.

Atmanirbhar means to promote and give preference to indigenous products and ensuring that these products match their imported counterparts in cost and quality Self-reliant doesn't mean that we are cut off from the Global World, but it actually means that we are able to produce the products and eventually play a larger role in the global economy.

The five pillars of Atmanirbhar Bharat focus on:

1. Economy

1. Infrastructure

3. System

4. Vibrant demography and

5. Demand

The five phases of Attmanirbhar Bharat are:

• Phase-1: Business including MSMEs
• Phase-2: Poor, including migrants and farmers
• phase-3: Agriculture
• Phase-4 New horizons of growth
• Phase-5: Government reforms and enables

The Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan is an important mission for the economic revival and progress of the Indian economy under lockdown.

Indian Economy has huge potential to achieve Self-reliance but it requires proper implementation of laws made by the government and proper allocation of funds allotted by the government. not only in urban but rural section also have a great capacity to develop of proper policies are made and implemented.

Government should give all the facilities to develop[p those sectors which have potential to take innovative steps. this is not only the government's responsibility but also consumers responsibility to consume domestically produced goods because demand is the main determinant to develop any sector.

Introduction 

Recently, The Prime Minister has announced the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan' or (Self-reliant India mission) with an economic stimulus package worth Rs.20 lakh crores aimed towards achieving the mission.

The announced economic package is 10% of India's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2019 - 2020.

 

The amount includes packages already announced at the beginning of the lockdown incorporating measures from the RBI and the payouts under the Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan yojna. The package is expected to focus on land, labour, liquidity and laws. 

Self-reliant India mission 

The self reliant India mission aims towards cutting down import dependence by focussing on substitution while improving safety compliance and quality goods to gain global market share. 

The Self-Reliance neither signifies any exclusionary or isolationist strategies but involves creation of a helping hand to the whole world.

The mission focuses on the importance of promoting "local" products.

Phase-1/Phase-2 

The mission will be carried out in two phases: 

Phase-1: It will consider sectors like medical textiles, electronics, plastics and toys where local manufacturing and exports can be promoted. 

Phase-2: It will consider products like gems and jewellery, pharma and steel, etc. 

Five pillars of Atmanirbhar Abhiyan 

The mission would be based on five pillar namely, 

• Economy 
• Infrastructure 
• System 
• Vibrant demography 
• Demand 

Conclusion 

The mission is also expected to com- pliment "Make in India initiative" which intends to encourage manufacturing in india. 

It would benefit labourers farmers, honest tax payers, MSME's and cottage industry. 

When India speaks of self-reliance, it does not advocate for a self-centered system. In India's self-reliance there is a concern for the whole world's happiness, cooperation and peace.
